What are fascias and soffits?
A house's fascia is used to protect the edges of the roof and provide a mounting point for gutters. Soffits cover the underside of the roof overhang for protection and ventilation. Sometimes soffits are called ‘barge boards’.
Fascias protect your roof from the elements, moisture damage and insects and therefore must not have any cracks, damage or gaps.
