But to make sure it has a long lifespan, it’s important to get your conservatory regularly checked. That will help identify any minor issues before they become major ones.
Getting your conservatory serviced isn’t something that most homeowners will think of doing. But it’s much more cost effective than leaving things until you have a major problem – and expense – on your hands.

We’d recommend getting your conservatory serviced every six months or so. The ideal times to arrange a conservatory service would be before the winter, and before the summer – so around October and November, and again in March or April.

How it works
We make sure that your conservatory is ready for the season (and weather) ahead.
Getting a conservatory health MOT and service is a really quick process. Here's what it involves:

A visit from Star Roofs to inspect all the components of your conservatory.

We make sure that your conservatory is watertight and sealed properly.

We check that there is no blown glass, and that there are no leaks.

We also inspect the guttering to make sure that there are no potential blockages or detritus which might build up and cause your guttering to leak or break.

We make sure that your conservatory is ready for the season (and weather) ahead.
That might include replacing any sealing, checking leadwork, unblocking or replacing any faulty guttering, and cleaning any moss or bits and pieces off your conservatory.
It’s much cheaper to get this service than wait until you need your guttering replaced for example!
Finally: once we’ve inspected your conservatory, we’ll fix anything that needs attention, and then give it a full valet: it’ll be clean, sparkling, and good as new!
